FeedbackInstallation of TrueSpeech Codec for WMP 11 on Windows VistaTrueSpeech shipped with prior versions of WMP from Win95 through WinXP. Stripping out the old codec files from WinXP and using them in Vista seems to work.Option 1The DSP codec can be installed on Vista using the following procedure:1.Acquire tssoft32.acm and tsd32.dll (can be easily found by searching for them online)2.Open the WindowsSystem32 directory3.If tssoft32.acm is present, rename it tssoft32old.acm.

Download

It can take several tries dependingon how many rollbacks it does. Then do same for Device Maker's site.Manually look at manufacturer's sites for drivers - and Device Maker's sites. How to Install a Device Driver in Vista Device Manager-Error “the Audio Service Is Not Running” When Opening the Volume Mixer in VistaAlso Right Click Speaker near clock - Playback Devices - right click in the box area - checkShow disable and disconnected devices.
